Professor in the Department of Economics at the Federal University of Pará (FACECON/ICSA) and in the Graduate Program in Economics (PPGE/UFPA). PhD and Master’s degree in Economics from the Federal University of Uberlândia, UFU, Brazil. Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Federal University of Maranhão, UFMA, Brazil. His research agenda focuses mainly on the broad areas of Macroeconomics and International Economics, with an emphasis on the following topics: economic complexity, international trade, economic growth, and patterns of productive and export specialization.
